SWITZERLAND, Zurich — Although a state-sponsored terror attack could theoretically occur at any one of the 31 NFL stadiums throughout America, it will most likely transpire at a stadium which is currently slated for demolition (e.g., Candlestick Park, the Georgia Dome, the Metrodome, and the Superdome), or one which has been selected by the NFL for a “specialized” high-tech Wi-Fi system (see list below). The new Wi-Fi systems were evidently installed to ensure that video footage and photos of an NFL terror attack could be instantaneously uploaded onto the internet and streamed “live” in real time without any disruption or delay.

Considering that the Obama administration has been caught red-handed targeting the NFL at least twice prior (e.g., the foiled nuclear terror attack on Super Bowl XLV in Dallas, Texas, on February 6, 2011, and the second failed nuclear attack on the Patriots vs. Broncos game in Foxboro, Massachusetts on November 24, 2013), another state-sponsored terror plot targeting the NFL is all but a forgone conclusion.
When NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stated on March 5, 2013, that he was “terrified’ that an “NFL player is going to die on the field”, he was likely referencing the sad but true fact that the National Football League is on the short-list of high-profile state-sponsored terror targets. Suspiciously, on September 12, 2013, it was reported that NFL “undercover officers will now be at NFL games to “prevent excessive heckling”. In the event that terror strikes the NFL, these so-called undercover security agents will likely play some role in the attacks.
New NFL Logo
Although the NFL states that their new 4 and 4 star logo is representative of the four divisions within the NFC and AFC conferences, the NFL is currently looking to expand internationally with prospective franchises in Canada, Mexico and even Europe. Therefore, the new NFL logo will only be valid for a few years at best, leading to suspicions that the 4 and 4 star logo is representative of the 44th President of the United States—Barrack Hussein Obama. Since the aforementioned nuclear terror attacks were slated to take place on Obama’s watch, the NFL was evidently kind enough to change their logo to represent him prior to these would-be Earth changing events.
“Live TV” Terror
Prior to a “live” nationally syndicated NFL terror attack, the American public must be psychologically prepared to accept that this is in fact possible. Hollywood movie propaganda is a slick way of showing that yes, it can happen. In an episode of the TV series “Homeland” which aired November 25, 2012, terrorist leader “Abu Nazir” was plotting a terror attack and planned to film it on live television and disseminate it globally. Evidently, the Obama administration is following the Hollywood script as an NFL terror attack would be seen by millions “live” around the world.
Made-For-TV Bio-Terror “Event*
As depicted in the report entitled “Red Alert: Mass Bio-Terror Pandemic Imminent”, the genesis of the 2013 bio-terror pandemic will be a “made-for-TV event” whereby millions will witness a bio-terror outbreak on live television. This so called bio-terror “event” will likely occur when the agents known as acid, anthrax (Bacillus anthracis) or smallpox (Variola major) are released into a controlled environment, such as an NFL stadium. Although a state-sponsored nuclear terror attack has been the #1 choice of terror for the NFL, a bio-terror attack is also highly plausible.
I. NFL STADIUMS PENDING DEMOLITION:
1.1: NFL Stadiums Slated for Demolition
The following 4 NFL stadiums appear slated for demolition. Since these buildings will be destroyed, it’s very tempting for intelligence agencies to target these venues based purely on the fact that the buildings are old, possibly unstable, worthless, and there would be no major monetary loss in respect to insurance payouts. Also, would-be demolition personal, machinery and tools would not seem out of the ordinary as they will be needed in time.
1.2: Candlestick Park (San Francisco, California)
Candlestick Park is the home field of the San Francisco 49ers and is located in San Francisco, California. According to a February 6, 2013, report entitled, “Candlestick Park slated for demolition in early 2014”, the home of the 49ers will be demolished in early 2014. Based on the sheer amount of violent and unprecedented events surrounding Candlestick Park, a future NFL terror attack in the Bay Area may be imminent. On August 21, 2011, it was reported that two men were shot and a third man was beaten unconscious inside the stadium in the parking lot of Candlestick Park after a preseason game between the San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Raiders. A few months later on December 20, 2011, the start of Monday Night Football at Candlestick Park in San Francisco was delayed when a transformer exploded just outside the stadium. The unprecedented explosion delayed the start of the game for about 30 minutes. After being allegedly fixed, the power and lights went out for a second time around 6:45 p.m. causing a second delay of game that lasted 16 minutes in the second quarter. Roughly a year later on October 15, 2012, a man suffered non-fatal injuries when he was stabbed outside Candlestick Park, shortly after the start of Sunday’s game between the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants. Coincidentally, the Bay Area was just home to Operation Urban Shield 2013, a state-sponsored terror drill executed from October 25 through October 28, 2013. The terror operation was a “full-scale regional preparedness exercise” whose overarching goals include “managing large scale events” as well as “respond[ing] to, and recover[ing] from terrorist incidents or related catastrophic events by providing planning, training, equipment and exercises to the UASI region”. Aside from the 110 regional fire departments, 14 national agencies; 56 federal agencies, 7 international agencies, and 158 corporate sponsors. In the event that an attack occurs at Candlestick Park, the local, state and federal agents will have no doubt trained for the exact scenario.
1.3: Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Georgia)
The Georgia Dome is the home field of the Atlanta Falcons and is located in Atlanta, Georgia. On March 7, 2013, it was reported that Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed and the Atlanta Falcons had reached an agreement on key aspects of a deal regarding the construction of a new stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. According to the report, the terms of the new stadium deal had not been announced as several key “aspects” of the agreement still needed to be approved by the Atlanta city council after a memorandum of understanding was reached with the Georgia World Congress Center Authority board and the owners of the Georgia Dome. According to Wikipedia, “If a [stadium] deal is reached, the Georgia Dome would then be demolished”. The “memorandum of understanding” was likely based upon the execution of a bio-terror anthrax attack on the Georgia Dome slated for April 8, 2013, which was ultimately exposed and foiled, subsequently putting the new stadium deal in jeopardy.
1.4: Metrodome (Minneapolis, Minnesota)
The Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome, commonly called the Metrodome, is the home field of the Minnesota Vikings and is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. According to reports, the Metrodome is currently scheduled to be demolished on January 18, 2013. The Twin Cities area is home to the largest Somali population in the United States and according to a September 30, 2013, report, the state-sponsored terror group known as Al-Shabaab remains a threat in Minnesota and therefor may be scapegoated in a demolition-style terror attack on the Metrodome. The September 21, 2013, Westgate Shopping Mall Attack in Nairobi, Kenya was the coming out party for “Al Shabaab” who claimed responsibility for the attack the very same day. In an obvious sign that the attack was a false-flag attack, it was reported on September 22, 2013, that Israel was reportedly “helping” Kenya during the shopping mall siege. Coincidentally, the new name of the Metrodome is “Mall of America Field”, an ominous sign that the doomed Viking’s stadium may be targeted with terror. The U.S. Congress recently stated that Al Shabaab poses a “Direct Threat” to the U.S. and that there is growing evidence that Al-Shabaab is becoming more of a regional terrorist player with the potential to go global.
1.5: Superdome (New Orleans, Louisiana)
The Mercedes-Benz Superdome is the home field of the New Orleans Saints and is located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Aside from its numerous terror threats (see below) in July of 2011, AECOM completed the Superdome remodel which included the “addition of two premium ground/field level bunker clubs”. According to Merriam Webster, a bunker is “a protective embankment or dugout…a fortified chamber mostly below ground often built of reinforced concrete and provided with embrasures. Wikipedia states that a bunker, in war terminology, is a “is a hardened shelter, often buried partly or fully underground, designed to protect the inhabitants from falling bombs or other attacks”. The recent remodel of the Superdome may have provided the opportunity for the insertion of demolition charges into the infrastructure that could be detonate via remote control at a future date.
II: STADIUM TERROR NETWORK:
2.1: First Social Media Terror Attack
As previously mentioned, on September 3, 2013, it was reported by CNN that 12 NFL stadiums have recently installed high-tech Wi-Fi throughout the stadium. The special communication network was evidently built so that in the wake of an NFL terror attack, the tens of thousands of fans texting, calling and uploading photos and videos of the attack wouldn’t overload and crash local cellular networks. In other words, the NFL and the U.S. government built a special network so that the world would suddenly be inundated with horrific images of an NFL terror attack, multiplying the terror factor exponentially. Coincidentally, on October 21, 2013, it was reported that Facebook has changed their policy to allow videos depicting violence such as beheadings, further paving the way for gruesome images to be disseminated via Facebook to the world.
NFL Stadiums with High-Tech Wi-Fi Capability:
1. AT&T Stadium (Dallas, Texas): Dallas Cowboys
2. Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte, North Carolina): Carolina Panthers
3. Ford Field (Detroit, Michigan): Detroit Lions
4. Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Georgia): Atlanta Falcons
5. Gillette Stadium: (Boston, Massachusetts): New England Patriots
6. Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, Indiana): Indianapolis Colts
7. Mercedes-Benz Superdome (New Orleans): New Orleans Saints
8. MetLife Stadium (New York/New Jersey): New York Giants and the New York Jets
9. Raymond James Stadium (Tampa, Florida): Tampa Bay Buccaneers
10. Soldier Field (Chicago, Illinois): Chicago Bears
11. Sun Life Stadium (Miami, Florida): Miami Dolphins
12. University of Phoenix Stadium (Phoenix, Arizona): Arizona Cardinals
2.2: AT&T Stadium (Dallas, Texas)
Cowboys Stadium, also known as AT&T Stadium, is the home field of the Dallas Cowboys and is located in Arlington, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. Aside from being 1 of the 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for high-tech terror Wi-Fi, Cowboys Stadium was the chosen location of the 2011 Super Bowl Nuclear Terror Plot which featured a matchup on February 6, 2011, between the Pittsburg Steelers and the Green Bay Packers. Five days prior on February 1, 2011, Julian Assangeof Wikileaks revealed to the world via leaked classified diplomatic documents that Al-Qaida was on the brink of using a nuclear bomb and that the West was on the verge of a “Nuclear 9/11″. What the diplomatic documents failed to mention was actual target, date and location of the upcoming nuclear terror attack. Published 4 days prior on January 28, 2011, The Nuclear Bible that went viral on the internet, specifically naming Super Bowl XLV as the target, date and location of the impending nuclear terror attack. Pakistan, the alleged greatest purveyor of terrorism and nuclear proliferation, was scheduled to be scapegoated for the nuclear attack that would kick off a nuclear World War III. Evidently, Cowboys Stadium was built specifically for a WMD terror attack and therefore the likelihood of future acts of state-sponsored terror in Dallas is quite high.
2.3: Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Bank of America Stadium in the home field of the Carolina Panthers and is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Aside from being 1 of 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for a high-tech Wi-Fi terror attack, on September 6th, 2012, the “2012 DNC Terror Plot” targeting Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, was ultimately foiled. Based on evidence acquired to date, an airliner (Flight 1267) was slated to be used in a kamikaze suicide bio-terror attack on President Obama supporters attending the 2012 Democratic National Convention whose logo coincidentally just happened to be a bull’s eye with Obama’s head in the center. Once the horrific terror plot was exposed, the Obama administration canceled the stadium speech and Flight 1267, which was headed to Dallas en route to North Carolina, was brought back to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where it was subsequently taken out of service in order to remove the “dangerous substance” which was evidently still onboard the place. According to reports, “the airplane (Flight 1267) taxied to a remote section of the airport where a slew of law enforcement vehicles surrounded it”, no doubt destroying and/or covering up any incriminating evidence. A day later on September 7, 2012, it was reported that Kenneth Smith Jr. was charged with using a telephone to convey false information after he allegedly reported that there was “liquid explosives” aboard flight 1267. The aerial suicide terror attack was apparently scheduled to be blamed on the Texas militia group entitled F.E.A.R (Forever Enduring Always Ready), whose military militia members were conveniently arrested 10 days prior for allegedly plotted to kill Obama and overthrow the U.S. government. Needless to say, a future “race war” type terror attack at Bank of America Stadium targeting African-American NFL players is highly plausible.
2.4: Ford Field (Detroit, Michigan)
Ford Field is the home of the Detroit Lions and is located in Detroit, Michigan. Aside from being 1 of 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for a high-tech Wi-Fi terror attack, Detroit is the American city with the highest Muslim population and Michigan is home to the state-sponsored terror group known as the Hutaree Militia. The militia, which adheres to the ideology of the Christian Patriot movement, is officially based near Adrian, Michigan. The group was formed in early 2006. The name “Hutaree” appears to be a neologism; the group’s web site says that it means “Christian warriors”. The group became widely known in 2010 after the FBI prosecuted them in federal court for an alleged plan for violent revolt. The prosecution said this was to have involved killing a police officer and attacking the funeral with bombs. Although the presiding judge dismissed these charges, 3 members pled guilty to possessing a machine gun and were sentenced to time served. Based on the evidence and events surrounding the 2011 mock trial of the Hutaree Terror Militia and alleged STRATFOR operative Alex Jones’ rabid defense of the right-wing ultra-Christian militia group, it now appears that the Hutaree Militia will commit future acts of terror within the United States, possibly targeting the University of Michigan or Ford Field.
2.5: Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Georgia)
The Georgia Dome is the home field of the Atlanta Falcons and is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Aside from being 1 of 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for a high-tech Wi-Fi terror attack, on March 7, 2013, it was reported that Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed and the Atlanta Falcons had reached an agreement on key aspects of a deal regarding the construction of a new stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The racially motivated bio-terror attack on the 2013 NCAA Final Four was slated to occur in the Georgia Dome and ultimately scapegoated onto white American militia members. In 2011, four Georgia militia men were implicated in a bio-terror plot involving the biological agent known as Ricin. Suspiciously, 2 of the 4 men arrested in the bio-terror plot were former U.S. government employees, potentially suggesting that it was yet another U.S. government staged terror plot and trial executed with the goal of demonizing American militia members and gun owners. In the aftermath of this unprecedented bio-terror attack, America was scheduled to suffer even further by the hand of Zionist Hollywood cinematic terror propaganda with “Under The Dome” (2013), a 13 week television mini-series scheduled to premiere on June 24, 2013, exactly 11 weeks after the would-be NCAA bio-terror attack of April 8, 2013. The new television show (see trailer) is based on the 2009 Steven King book by the same name which depicts the chaotic and deadly life experienced by Americans who are suddenly forced to live under a dome with no way out. Had the NCAA Final Four bio-terror plot been executed as planned, it is likely that anthrax would have been used in the attack. This would have ultimately “forced” the CDC to quarantine the entire Georgia Dome, subsequently trapping the entire record crowd of 74,000 inside the dome with no way out. In the aftermath of the bio-terror attack, the Georgia Dome would have been eventually deemed a biohazard and a demolition of the premises would have been in order. Atlanta was also one of 7 NFL stadium locations which were named in the 2006 NFL nuclear terror plot involving “dirty bombs” which were allegedly to be delivered by trucks to the stadiums and detonated on Sunday, October 15, 2006.
2.6: Gillette Stadium Attack Plan (Boston, Massachusetts)
Gillette Stadium is the home field of the New England Patriots and is located in Foxboro, Massachusetts. Aside from being 1 of 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for a high-tech Wi-Fi terror attack, Gillett Stadium was the chosen location of the November 24, 2013, nuclear terror plot depicted in the Truther.org report entitled, “Live Nuclear “Event” Planned for NFL Game in Boston, MA on November 24, 2013”. Due to the construction of Gillette Stadium, which may be the only stadium in the country with direct vehicle access to the field, a future terror attack may come from rouge vehicles who could easily break through the security gate and drive onto the field, possibly running over fans, players and coaches.
2.7: Heinz Field (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)
Heinz Field is the home field of the Pittsburgh Steelers and is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Back on November 6, 2006, it was reported that two Carnegie Mellon University students, Sudeep Paul, 21, and Anand Shankar Durvasula, 20, were charged with criminal conspiracy and criminal trespass after they were caught in the middle of the night trying to sneak into the home of the Pittsburg Steelers. Although explosive-sniffing dogs found nothing of interest around the football stadium, an affidavit stated that the dogs registered two separate “positive hits for explosives” in the Lexus sport utility vehicle the men were driving. According to reports, Heinz Field security officers spotted the men on a security camera trying to enter the stadium. The security officers then approached the men who tried to escape, only to be apprehended by Pittsburgh police officers in waiting. The suspects initially told police that they were trying to check out the stadium because they had tickets to the Steelers game against the Denver Broncos, but later changed their story and told investigators they were trying to complete a music video. A video camera and tripod were allegedly found inside the vehicle which police found parked nearby. Even though the suspects were questioned by agents from the Joint Terrorism Task Force, Pittsburgh Police Chief Nate Harper stated that “We don’t know exactly what their intentions were”.
2.8: Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis, Indiana)
Lucas Oil Stadium is the home field of the Indianapolis Colts and is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Aside from being 1 of the 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for high-tech terror Wi-Fi, headlines published just prior to Super Bowl XLVI on January 30, 2012, such as “Indy bracing for threats of all kinds as Super Bowl week kicks off” and “Indianapolis on the Lookout for Nuclear Threats at Super Bowl” suggest that acts of future terror may be planned for the city of Indianapolis.
2.9: Mercedes-Benz Superdome (New Orleans, Louisiana)
The Mercedes-Benz Superdome is the home field of the New Orleans Saints and is located in New Orleans, Louisiana. Aside from being 1 of 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for a high-tech Wi-Fi terror attack, on June 2, 2012, it was reported that a Detroit Lions fan, Shawn Payton, 34, had called in two bomb threats during Detroit’s playoff loss to the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome in January of 2012. According to reports, Payton called in the hoax threats from his home in Jackson, Michigan, in an attempt to halt the January 7, 2012, game, which the Saints went on to win. According to the indictment, he told the receptionist, “I will blow up your building.” In the second message, which was recorded by police after the first threat was reported, he ordered, “I want you to relay a message to the sideline: If you’re stupid Southern team keeps winning, there will be … severe consequences, OK?” FBI agents allegedly traced phone records to nab Payton, who eventually pleaded guilty to a felony charge of using interstate communications to transmit a threat. Although Payton faced a maximum of 5 years’ imprisonment and a $250,000 fine, it was reported on September 7, 2012, that he was only sentenced to 3 years’ probation and 2 months of home confinement. The slap on the wrist confirms that Shawn Payton, who coincidentally shares a name almost identical to that of Saints head coach Sean Payton, is in fact an intelligence operative meant to set the precedent of Superdome terror.
2.10: MetLife Stadium (New York/New Jersey)
MetLife Stadium is the home field of the New York Giants and the New York Jets and is located in East Rutherford, New Jersey, a suburb of New York City. Aside from being 1 of 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for a high-tech Wi-Fi terror attack, MetLife Stadium will be home to Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2, 2014. Coincidentally, the stadium has suffered a number of violent episodes as of late, including but not limited to: a September of 2012 incident in which a man attacked 3 people in the stadium with a stun gun inside MetLife Stadium; an October 2013 incident in which a New York Jets fan punched a woman in the face at MetLife Stadium; and a November 2013 incident in which Jets and Cowboys fans got in a fight in the stands at MetLife Stadium. New York was also one of 7 NFL Stadium locations which were part of the 2006 NFL nuclear terror plot involving “dirty bombs” which were allegedly to be delivered by trucks to stadiums and detonated on Sunday, October 15, 2006.
2.11: M&T Bank Stadium (Baltimore, Maryland)
M&T Bank Stadium is the home field of the Baltimore Ravens and is located in Baltimore, Maryland. In the book and movie entitled, “The Sum of All Fears”, an Israeli nuclear bomb is detonated inside an NFL stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. The “Sum of All Fears” was the first time that the marriage of nuclear terror and the NFL was made in pop culture. 20 years later, the Super Bowl XLV nuclear terror plot is Dallas, Texas, was ultimately foiled. Although Tom Clancy suddenly died on October 1, 2013, there is still a chance that life will imitate art and a future WMD terror attack may take place in Baltimore.
2.12: Oakland Coliseum (Oakland, California)
Oakland Coliseum, also known as O.co Coliseum, is the home field of the Oakland Raiders and is located in Oakland, California. As depicted in the October 5, 2013, Truther.org report entitled, “2013 MLB Playoffs (SSTTA): Oakland Coliseum Attack Trending for October 5-6, 2013”, the stadium was evidently slated for a gun-related massacre. That same weekend, fans got stun gunned after fighting police at the Coliseum. A few weeks later on October 27, 2013, a man was killed in a shooting near the Oakland Coliseum. Roughly a month later on November 24, 2013, it was reported that a woman jumped in an apparent suicide attempt from Coliseum’s third deck. Needless to say, the stadium is very violent and therefore a terror attack is all the more likely. Oakland was also one of 1 of 7 NFL stadium locations targeted in the 2006 NFL nuclear terror plot involving “dirty bombs” which were to be delivered to the stadium via truck and detonated on Sunday, October 15, 2006.
2.13: Raymond James Stadium (Tampa, Florida)
Raymond James Stadium is the home field of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is located in Tampa, Florida. Aside from being 1 of 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for a high-tech Wi-Fi terror attack, the state of Florida has been targeted by the Obama administration on numerous occasions (e.g., 2012 NBA All-Star Game; 2012 NASCAR: Daytona 500; and the 2013 NBA Finals) and therefore a future NFL terror attack would not be farfetched.
2.14: Soldier Field (Chicago, Illinois)
Soldier Field is the home field of the Chicago Bears and is located in Chicago, Illinois. As revealed in the November 17, 2013, Truther.org report entitled, “November 17, 2013 Chicago Bears Versus Baltimore Raven Game (SSTTA): “Race War” Bio-Terror Attack May Be Planned”, the notion of a Soldier Field terror attack is very high. Aside from the fact that the Mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, is the son of a Israeli Zionist terrorist, the city of Chicago has experienced 532 murders in 2012 and more than 200 murders in 2013 since Emanuel took over the mayorship. In the month of August 2013 alone, Chicago has suffered an unprecedented 53 homicides and 224 others have been shot. These murders are in large part a result of Emanuel and the crew of Israeli terrorists which are currently having a free-for-all terrorizing the unarmed Windy City. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that the Chicago is slated to suffer an unprecedented gun related “race war” massacre. Interestingly, Emanuel participated in a cameo on the television show entitled “Chicago Fire”, which coincidentally features Chicago fire and medical teams which would be called to a future Chicago area terror attack.
2.15: Sun Life Stadium (Miami, Florida):
Sun Life Stadium is the home field of the Miami Dolphins and is located in Miami, Florida. Aside from being 1 of 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for a high-tech Wi-Fi terror attack, the state of Florida has been targeted by the Obama administration on numerous occasion (e.g., 2012 NBA All-Star Game; 2012 NASCAR: Daytona 500; and the 2013 NBA Finals) and therefore an NFL terror attack would not be farfetched. Miami was also one of 1 of 7 NFL stadium locations targeted in the 2006 NFL nuclear terror plot involving “dirty bombs” which were to be delivered to the stadium via truck and detonated on Sunday, October 15, 2006.
2.16: University of Phoenix Stadium (Phoenix, Arizona)
University of Phoenix Stadium is the home field of the Arizona Cardinals and is located in Tempe, Arizona. Aside from being 1 of 12 NFL stadiums retrofitted for a high-tech Wi-Fi terror attack, on August 18, 2012, it was reported that police responded to a call from a man who said he had “accidentally shot” another man in a parking lot near the University of Phoenix stadium during the Oakland Raiders and Arizona Cardinals game. Due to the controversy over gun-related legislation in Arizona, the possibility of a NFL massacre is a real possibility.
III. NFL & TERROR:
3.1: NFL & DHS Partnership
The NFL was intimately connected to the foiled Super Bowl XLV nuclear terror plot, so it should come as no surprise that the NFL and DHS have partnered together in the “If You See Something, Say Something” terror program. The NFL and DHS terror partnership was forged just two days prior to Super Bowl XLV, when U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano stated that: “We are partnering this year with the NFL on our ‘If You See Something, Say Something’ campaign and launching that NFL partnership right here at the Super Bowl…The idea is simple…We are simply asking the American people to be vigilant, recognizing that our security is a shared responsibility that all of us must participate in. If a fan at the Super Bowl or any other American at any other place sees something that is potentially dangerous, then say something about it to local law enforcement or someone in authority”.
3.2: NFL Security Compromised
Starting on June 13, 2013, the NFL implemented new security measures by banning purses, seat cushions, and coolers from games. The change in security was a calculated decision by the NFL to gain plausible deniability in the aftermath of a terror attack at one of their stadiums. Aside from the legal changes, the NFL launched a media campaign entitled, “Be Clear On Game Day Safety”, which has highlighted the notion that the NFL could be attacked. Interestingly, on September 12, 2013, it was reported that undercover officers will now be at NFL games aim to “prevent excessive heckling”. In the event that terror strikes the NFL, these so called undercover agents will most likely be responsible for participating in the attacks in some manner.
3.3: NFL Exempt from Terror Lawsuits
Congressional legislation passed in December of 2008 conveniently dismisses any potential lawsuits against the NFL stemming from a future terror attack on any of the NFL’s football stadiums. The new law, entitled the SAFETY Act (Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies), which was curiously not reported until September of 2009, essentially guarantees that the NFL will not have to pay any claims that terror victims may file in the aftermath of an attack. According to the report, the “protection extends only to companies’ services or equipment that the Homeland Security Department has approved as being effective in anti-terrorism.” The NFL got the protection after the government approved the league’s nine-page stadium-security guidelines. “An attack from a terrorist organization could put us out of business”, stated NFL security chief Milt Ahlerich.
